Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves

 Assalamualaikum and peace be upon everyone

I used to think "merubah nasib mereka" referred to changes in our wealth from poor to rich. But today, as I read this ayat and its translation, and reflected on my own life and those around me, I begin to see it differently.

Sometimes, the trials we face seem to repeat like a loop. The same patterns of pain or hardship keep on showing up. We often find ourselves repeatedly doing the same actions that hurt others or ourselves, even when we’re already aware of the consequences. We know it’s going to hurt, but somehow, we still fall into the same behavior.

Until we make the conscious decision to confront our weaknesses and change. accepting our vulnerability is not something to be ashamed of. It is part of being human. 

Too often, we carry silent guilt or shame for the parts of us that feel broken. when the truth is, acceptance is the first step toward healing. When we begin to embrace our own selves with honesty and compasssion, we slowly break free from the destructive patterns that keep repeating in our lives. Only then can we stop ourselves from unintentionally hurting the people we love. Because real change doesn't just protect us, it protects those closest to our hearts.

The choice is in our hands. To set aside our ego and strive to become a better version of ourselves, or to remain as we are, repeating the same mistakes and holding ourselves back from growth. We risk not only losing the people we love, but also losing our true selves in the process. 

Growth requires humility, reflection, and the willingness to let go of patterns that destroy us. In choosing to change, we don’t just heal. we reclaim the parts of ourselves that were buried under pride, fear, or pain.

indeed Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.

Reset, Restart, Refocus

  Assalamualaikum 2025 is almost reaching the year end so here i am reset, restart, refocus. I decided to start a new blog. I have tried to write on thread but too many limitation and i don't feel comfortable. i do write on my wa status but you can't write freely as it also has limitation. So i decided to start a new blog for me to write.   Why did i choose edelweiss as my blog's title? Well edelweiss represent purity, courage, love and resillience. So ya it is time for me to reset, restart, refocus be resillience like edelweiss that grow in remote mountains area.
